In 1919, Walter Gropius founded the Bauhaus in Weimar, a school that still influences design today. Bauhaus Next100 was created on the occasion of the Bauhaus centenary, as a platform aiming to explore new artistic formats and potentials. My role there was as a production manager and technical director.
In December 2018, we worked together with the Kunstfest Weimar to organise our first event. Raster.Signale #1 was a night of Audio/Visual performances by label Raster Media. A kickoff event to celebrate the Bauhaus centenary, the evening includes performances by Frank Bretschneider, Byetone, Mieko Suzuki and myself.
After the success of our first event we started to work together with the Klassik Stiftung Weimar to help them produce the opening of their new Bauhaus Museum. We established a cooperation between them and our partner label Raster Media. Through my knowledge of the different cultural institutions in Weimar, I was able to work as an adviser for the celebrations accompanying the opening of the new Bauhaus Museum.
The event took place on the 6th April 2019, in front of the new Bauhaus Museum.
