While working on an audiovisual performance based on Ken Perlin's Simplex Noise in TouchDesigner, I got to dig deeper into this algorithm. I started travelling through the endlessness of this noise and documenting my findings. The result is a digital topography (Noise.Kompendium, soon to be published) and a print series in 140x100 cm.
The ciphers behind every value used for each image inside the parameters of the Noise in TouchDesigner is stored in a sequence and then used as the title of the works. This gives a transparent subface to the viewer, enabling them in theory to reconstruct the images.
