The international GENIUS LOCI WEIMAR Festival for audiovisual projections was launched in 2012. The festival welcomes more than 50,000 visitors each year, making it one of the largest summer events in Weimar. Since 2014 there is a stage for young artists, the LAB initiated by Leander Leinenbach.Â
In 2017 Leander and I worked together on producing the Genius Loci LAB at the Theaterplatz in Weimar. We invited 12 international Video artists to perform on the façade of the Bauhaus Museum in front of the German national theater (DNT). We expanded our stage adding various installations to the Theaterplatz to complete our goal of urban space intervention.Â
